He mostly wanted to help, which could have been triggered by his need to face new challenges. The reason behind his need to always try new challenges could as well be as a source of satisfaction and contentment one he solved a problem that could otherwise have been outlandish to any other person in the organization.

He also depicted a combination of behavioral skills including the ability to solve problems among other workers and technical problems as well. He could often reflect the possibility of risk regarding the application of certain methods or course of action to specific problems, even if they were new to him. Such characteristics contributed a lot to his success, as well as remaining as one of the most treasured employees by the company. Sometimes his absence could lead to uncompleted tasks and accumulation of problems not because he was solely the problem solver, but because his presence, as a leader, encouraged most of the workers to be innovative by being creative and critical thinkers (Miron, et al. , 2004). I was always among these employees who seemed to be stranded in his absence.

Nevertheless, I learned much from this person that I could implement in future once I get into a similar leadership position. I gain an understanding of the need to be an independent thinker while exercising good behavioral and social skills in the work place. While he seemed to be the core thinker among the junior and even most senior workers, he always encouraged group decision-making. He would come up with ideas and make some suggestions after which team members would think collectively for the best solution. He never challenged any opinion from his junior workers, but rather encouraged such opinions. Surprisingly, most of the final decisions originated amongst team members.
